ROBERT G. FUNARI has served as Chief Executive Officer for Syncor
International Corporation since July 1996, and as President since
January 1996. He joined Syncor in August 1993 as Executive Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Syncor, Mr.
Funari held a number of key management positions with Baxter
International and its subsidiaries, including Corporate Vice President
and President of its Pharmaseal Division.Mr. Funari received a Bachelor
of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and
an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Funari's other affiliations
include: serving as a Director of Pope and Talbot, Inc., a publicly held
pulp and wood products company, serving as Chairman of Bay Cities
National Bank, a non-publicly traded financial institution, serving as a
Director of Peninsula Banking Group, Inc., and Community First Financial
