ROBERT A. FRIST JR., co-Founder of HealthStream, Inc., has served as
Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors since
1990. As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Frist has positioned HealthStream
as the leading provider of learning solutions for the healthcare
industry. He is the architect of HealthStream's strategic business model
and a driving force in building the company's learning network of
healthcare organizations, where approximately 997,000 healthcare
professionals subscribe to HealthStream's Internet-based learning
platform. Under Mr. Frist's leadership, Deloitte & Touche awarded
HealthStream a ranking on their prestigious 'Technology Fast 500' list
for two consecutive years, 2000 and 2001, as a top technology company in
North America. Additionally, the Smithsonian presented HealthStream with
the Computerworld Smithsonian Medallion in recognition of its
achievement to innovatively use technology to empower and advance
society. He serves on the Board of Directors of HealthLeaders, a
healthcare publisher, and HearingPlanet, a hearing healthcare network.
Mr. Frist graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with
concentrations in Finance, Economics and Marketing from Trinity
