ROBERT L. BRATZLER is Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of
Coley Pharmaceutical Group. He joined the company in June 1998 and has
had over 15 years of experience in starting and building biotechnology-
based companies. A co-Founder of Sepracor Inc., Dr. Bratzler also co-
founded and helped build and finance several Sepracor Group companies
including ChiRex Inc., where Dr. Bratzler most recently served as
President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Bratzler received his BS
degree from the University of Michigan and his PhD in Chemical
Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Profile
