ROBERT BERG is President & CEO of SeaMED, Bob joined SeaMED in October
of 1985 as Vice President of Operations. He has been involved in the
management of high technology companies for the last 24 years, including
positions as Director of Management Services for Data I/O Corporation,
Vice President of Administration for HiComp Computer Corporation, and as
President of Zephyr Industries. Bob holds a Bachelor's degree from the
University of Washington. As Vice President of Operations, he
immediately identified and began dealing with a number of serious issues
that were in danger of causing the Company to fail. Recognizing his
talent, the owners who are two New York based investment firms,
appointed Bob President and CEO in 1988. As President and CEO, he
initiated his mission to make his organization and its people a success
in the medical contract design and manufacturing arena. Bob has both
personal and professional accomplishments. On the personal side, he has
been successfully married for 31 years. He has two sons, the younger of
which graduated from WSU with honors. He is an accomplished climber and
was climbing leader of a 1984 Mt. Everest expedition. Mr. Berg is 1998
Chairman of the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association and
is on the Board of Directors of the Washington State Technology
