RICHARD E. WILKES, CMB was appointed President and Chief Executive
Officer of IMX Exchange in April 1999. In this position, he is charged
with driving the company's strategy, infusing IMX Exchange with his
extensive mortgage industry background, and increasing the scope and
value of services provided to Exchange members. Mr. Wilkes brings more
than 28 years of mortgage banking experience to IMX Exchange, having
served as Chief Executive Officer of four mortgage banking companies
owned and operated by MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings, Inc., controlled by
Ronald Perelman. The companies include First Nationwide Mortgage and
First Gibraltar Mortgage. Previously, he was Chairman and CEO of North
American Mortgage Company. Mr. Wilkes has served as President of the
Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, as a Director of The Center for
Public Policy, and on Fannie Mae's National Advisory Board. He is one of
only 550 individuals who has been awarded the Certified Mortgage Banker
distinction and holds a BS degree in Economics and Finance from the
University of Houston. He is a member of the World Presidents
