RICHARD J. SIMS has been President and Chief Executive Officer of The
Tranzonic Companies since 1998. Prior to that, he served as President of
CCP Industries, one of Tranzonic's wholly owned subsidiaries from
1992-1997. Before joining Tranzonic, Mr. Sims was Senior Vice President
and General Counsel for Victoria Financial Corporation, a public
insurance and financial services holding company in Cleveland, Ohio,
that marketed non-standard auto and specialty insurance products. Mr.
Sims is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and
Boston University School of Law. He has also served as a Director of the
Alpha Shirt Company; Vice President of the Mayfield Heights, Ohio,
School Board; Cleveland United Way Admissions Board; Trustee of the
Cleveland Playhouse; and as a member of the Leadership Cleveland Class
