Richard Roscitt – Adc Telecommunications Inc (adct)

RICHARD R. 'RICK' ROSCITT was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ADC in February 2001. Since joining the company, he has spearheaded its transformation, developing new strategies surrounding six key product and service offerings that will play an integral role in the worldwide expansion of broadband services. In addition, Mr. Roscitt orchestrated the reconstruction of ADC's global sales team and continues to position the company for growth in the broadband marketplace. Prior to joining ADC, he was President of AT&T Business Services and President and Chief Executive Officer, AT&T Solutions. He served as a member of AT&T's Operations Group (OG), the company's governing executive panel. Prior to becoming part of AT&T Business Services, AT&T Solutions grew to more than $10 billion in contract wins, $3 billion in annual revenues and achieved worldwide recognition as the global leader in providing networking consulting, integration and outsourcing services. Mr. Roscitt currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading US non-profit trade association representing the communications and information technology industries, and is a Member of the Associates Committee of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association (NCTA). He is a CEO member of The Technology Network (TechNet), a nationwide network of senior executives who work to build bipartisan support for policies that strengthen America's leadership in the New Economy. Mr. Roscitt also serves on the Board of Directors of Tell Me Networks, a Mountain View, California-based company focused on revolutionizing how people and businesses use the telephone through Internet and voice technologies. Well recognized as an industry leader, he has keynoted at world-class forums including COMDEX, Cisco CIO Summit, BusinessWeek CEO Conference, Telecom Business World, and IBM's Tivoli World conference. He is regularly featured in leading business and industry trade print and electronic media. He received a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (cum laude) from Stevens Institute of Technology and earned an MBA in Management from the Sloan School of MIT.
