Richard C. Bernier – Polymer Technologies – (poly)

RICHARD C. BERNIER has been CEO and President of Planet Polymer Technologies, Inc., since October, 2000. Prior to joining Planet Mr. Bernier was the Principal at Directional Consulting where he serviced industrial and product-driven OE product companies. During the years 1991 to 1998 he was President of Techcon Systems, Inc., a California-based manufacturer of fluid dispensing products and valves. Mr. Bernier sold the company to O K International and became COO of the subsidiary of O K International. From 1986 to 1991, he was VP of Sales and Marketing and then President of Plastimatic, Inc., a NJ subsidiary of British industrial conglomerate Glynwed International until he sold the company to Rostra Holdings. His entire career has been spent with organizations involved in engineered industrial products including polymers, plastics, rubber, resins and epoxies including General Electric, Allied Chemical, Elf Aquitaine and Acushnet Rubber Company, where he has held various sales, marketing, operations and business management positions.
