JOHN PITT is a Director at LJR Redbook. He joined Redbook in 1995 and
was responsible for repositioning and redeveloping the service's core
products, including LJR Redbook retail Averages. Previously, he ran a
private consulting and research firm, Capital Analytics, and was
formerly a founder and Chief Executive of Asset International, a
financial information company. Mr. Pitt holds a B.A. in economics from
the University of Cape Town and an M.A. in philosophy, politics, and
economics from Oxford University. He is a member of the NYSSA and the
