Reinhold Geijer – Foreningssparbanken Ab (fspaa.st)

REINHOLD GEIJER is President and Chief Executive Officer of ForeningsSparbanken. The bank is the result of a merger which took place on January the first, 1998, between Foreningsbanken and Sparbanken Sverige (Swedbank). Mr Geijer joined Swedbank Group as Executive Vice President and Head of the Corporate Division of its finance company, Sparbanken Finans AB, in 1985. In 1989, he was appointed Deputy President of the Company and in 1990 President. Mr Geijer was in 1992 appointed Head of Human Resources and member of the executive committee of the parent company Sparbanken Sverige AB. In April 1995, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Sparbanken Sverige, which in June 1995 was listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. In August 1997 he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of ForeningsSparbanken. Before joining Sparbanken Sverige, Mr Geijer worked as a trainee with Weyerhaeuser Co. in the United States 1976-1977. From 1977-1980, he worked with SSAB Svenskt Stal AB as Marketing Manager for the Mobile Telephone Systems Division of Ericsson Radio Systems AB.
