RAVI GANESAN, is the founder and CEO of TriCipher. A PhD cryptographer
he has over fifteen years of experience in security both as a researcher
and also having oversight of security for significant Corporations. At
TriCipher, he has been actively involved in designing the product
architecture, building the team, raising capital and working with
customers and partners. Prior to TriCipher, Ravi served as Vice Chair
and CTO for CheckFree Corporation, where he was part of the leadership
team that led the Company through explosive revenue growth and to
profitability. He previously served in a number of roles at Verizon
Communications, and when he left he served as Vice President of
Distributed Operations where he led the operations support teams for all
distributed systems, desktops and networks and had responsibility for
the security and business continuity teams. He was also in charge of all
IT architecture. He holds several patents in the areas of security,
billing and payment technology, and is an accomplished writer on both
academic and non-academic topics. Ravi earned a PhD in Computer Science
from The Johns Hopkins University, an MS in Computer Science from the
University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor's in Computer
Science and Engineering from Anna University in Madras, India. Profile
