Randy Alexander – Intralase Corporation

Randy Alexander, President and CEO of IntraLase Corp., brings over 30 years of senior-level management in the ophthalmic industry. As a former Senior Vice President of Chiron Vision, Bausch & Lomb, a manufacturer and marketer of surgical ophthalmic devices for refractive, vitreo- retinal and cataract surgical vision correction, Mr. Alexander was responsible for leading the team in the acquisition and development of Magnum Diamond, a manufacturer of Radial Keratonomy devices, where they grew revenues from $2 million to $25 million in two years. While at Chiron/B&L, he also created a $50 million refractive product line by identifying the new Lasik surgical procedure and revitalized the international businesses in Latin America, Pacific Rim and Canada by increasing revenues from $25 million to $35 million in one year. As the former CEO and President of Pharmacia Intermedics, a manufacturer and marketer of surgical vision correction devices, he lead the team in achieving profitability within 12 months, reorganized all business functions and expanded new product development and penetrated the international markets including Japan and Germany. Prior to that, Mr. Alexander held key management positions where he was responsible for worldwide sales, developed and lead product development, conducted clinical investigations, and interfaced with the FDA.
