RALPH E. HANSON is Founder, President, CEO and Chairman of Pace Medical,
Inc. Pace Medical designs, manufactures, and markets temporary cardiac
pacemakers, a pacing analyzer, lead introducers, external pacing cables
(disposable and reusable) and associated accessories. In addition, he is
Chairman of Pace Medical's wholly-owned subsidiary APC Medical Ltd.,
Welwyn Garden City, England. He is the Founder, President, CEO and
Chairman of American Pacemaker Corporation ('APC'). Mr. Hanson was
President/General Manager of Parke Davis, Medical Instrument, formerly
Medical Technology Inc. ('MED/TEK') which was acquired by Parke Davis &
Company in February 1969. He was the Founder, President, CEO, Chairman
of Medical Technology Inc. ('MED/TEK'). The company was acquired by
Parke Davis & Company in February 1969. Mr. Hanson was the Director of
Marketing for Hewlett-Packard, Sanborn Medical Division, responsible for
the sale of all products sold world-wide through direct sales
representatives and distributor sales organizations. He resigned to
become Founder and President of MED/TEK. Mr. Hanson holds a BSEE degree
in Electrical, Electronic Engineering from the Indiana Institute of
Technology. He has certificates from the Wharton School of Finance
(Finance), American Management Association (Marketing) and Harvard
