TED WEISSBERG is President of Thomson Venture Economics, a research and
publishing unit of Thomson Financial. Venture Economics is the leading
information product and solutions provider to the venture capital and
leveraged buyout communities and offers products such as VentureXpert,
LPXpert, Venture Capital Journal, Pratt's Guide to Venture Capital
Sources, Private Equity Week and Buyouts newsletter. Mr. Weissberg has
been with Thomson since 1988 in a wide range of editorial and management
positions. In addition to his work in financial publishing and research,
Mr. Weissberg has published two nonfiction books: a biography of Arthur
Ashe and an expose of corruption in NCAA sports. He is a graduate of
