Phillip Lacombe – Veridian Corporation (vnx)

PHILLIP E. LACOMBE is Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives of Veridian Corporation. In this position, he leads the homeland security and C4ISR business lines that focus Veridian capabilities from across the company into cohesive solutions for national security, defense and other government customers. Mr. Lacombe serves on the Boards of several organizations including the national Information Technology-Information Sharing and Analysis Center (IT-ISAC), where he is the Secretary of the Board. Before joining Veridian, Mr. Lacombe was the Director of the President's Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection, a position he held from September 1996 until delivery of the Commission's report in September 1997. Before joining the Commission, Mr. Lacombe was the Managing Director of the Aerospace Education Foundation, a not-for- profit element of the Air Force Association providing educational programs nationwide. He also served as the Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Commission on Roles and Missions of the Armed Forces from July 1994 through August 1995. He was responsible for drafting the Commission's report, 'Directions for Defense.' He is a graduate of the National War College, Air Command and Staff College and Squadron Officers School.
