PHILIP GRAF is the Chief Executive of Trinity Mirror Plc. He was
educated in Belfast and at Clare College in Cambridge. In 1973, he
joined Thomson Regional Newspapers, becoming Group Circulation and
Marketing Controller. He then joined Trinity in 1984 and for two years
was Assistant MD (Commercial) for Liverpool Daily Post and Echo. In
1987, he joined Trinity's Board and between 1987 and 1990, was
responsible for the group's paper and packaging interests. In 1990, he
was appointed Corporate Development Director of Trinity Mirror and in
February 1993 became Group Chief Executive. Following the merger with
Mirror Group in September 1999, he became Chief Executive of Trinity
Mirror Plc. Profile
