Peter Madsen – Fastcomm Communications Corporation (fscx)

PETER C. MADSEN has been President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of FastComm Communications Corporation since September 1992. In 1986, Mr. Madsen co-founded Newbridge Networks Corporation, a Canadian telecommunications company, where he served as President of its United States subsidiary until 1992. Mr. Madsen served as a Director of Newbridge from September 1987 until June 1998. From 1984 to 1985, Mr. Madsen was President of Mitel DataComm, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitel Corporation. From 1981 to 1984, Mr. Madsen founded and managed several private telecommunications companies. In 1976, Mr. Madsen established Mitel U.S., and served as General Manager through 1981. Under his direction, Mitel U.S. became the market share leader in the small PABX marketplace. Mr. Madsen began his career at DND Teltronics, where he rose to the position of Vice President Marketing and Engineering and Design prior to his leaving to join Mitel in 1976. Mr. Madsen holds a degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Clarkson University and is an active participant in the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. Profile
