PER-OLOF LOOF is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sensormatic
Electronics Corporation, the world leader in electronic security. Prior
to joining Sensormatic, Per-Olof Loof was Senior Vice President of NCR's
Financial Solutions Group, one of the world's leading suppliers to the
retail financial services industry. Based in London, Loof had overall
worldwide responsibility for the group, which has annual sales of
approximately $3 billion. Mr. Loof reported to NCR Chairman and CEO Lars
Nyberg and was a member of the NCR Leadership Team, which set strategic
policy and direction for the company. Mr. Loof joined NCR from AT&T
ISTEL, one of Europe's leading providers of integrated computing and
communications services, where he was CEO. Before that, he worked for 12
years at Digital Equipment Corporation, where he was Vice President of
Sales and Marketing for Europe. Previously, as Vice President of
Financial Services Enterprises for Europe, he successfully led the
growth of that business and its many European operations as they became
fully integrated into Digital. Prior to joining Digital, Mr. Loof was a
Senior Consultant and Manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. in both the
United States and Sweden. Mr. Loof is a native of Sweden with a degree
in Economics and Business from the Stockholm School of Economics. Profile
