PAUL W. CHUTE has spent his whole professional career in healthcare,
first in public accounting for MacDonald Page and Co., Portland, Maine,
specializing in auditing tax work for health care providers and then for
21 years as Senior Vice President for Western Maine Health Care
Association. At Western Maine, Mr. Chute was principally responsible for
finance and operation where he directed the development of 10 separate
companies into a highly respected health care system with over $38
million in gross revenues. Mr. Chute was appointed Chairman and Chief
Executive of Acadia in 1997. Mr. Chute has a Masters Degree in Business
Administration, is certified as a Healthcare Billing and Management
Executive, also certified as a Diplomate from the American College of
Healthcare Executives and earned an advanced certification as a Fellow
from the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Chute lives in
rural western Maine with his wife and two teenage daughters. Profile
