PAUL MARSH is Chief Operating Officer for TXU's European activities with full executive responsibility for all of its operations across Europe. Within Europe, TXU operates principally in the UK, Germany, and the Scandinavian markets, and the company's Continental European trading operations are centred in Geneva. Previously Paul was Chief Financial Officer of TXU Europe. He joined Eastern Electricity in 1992 from Ernst & Young's Corporate Advisory Services Division, having previously held finance director positions in two medium sized private sales and trading groups. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and holds a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature from University College, Cardiff. Paul Marsh is chairman of the Pensions Trustees Board for Eastern Electricity plc and is also Chairman of the National Electricity Pensions body, ESPS. He is married with one child. Profile
