Paul M. Rady – Pennaco Energy Inc (pn)

PAUL M. RADY joined Pennaco Energy in June of 1998 as its Chief Executive Officer, President and Director. Prior to assuming the duties as the company's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rady was employed by Barrett Resources Corporation for approximately eight years. During his tenure at Barrett, Mr. Rady held various high ranking executive positions including his most recent position as CEO, President and Director. Other executive positions held by Mr. Rady prior to the Board electing him as CEO and President were Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President ' Exploration, and Chief Geologist ' Exploration Manager. While at Barrett, Mr. Rady was a leading executive in the management team that grew Barrett from a $20 million market capitalization NASDAQ firm, active in one basin (Piceance), to a $1.2 billion market cap NYSE firm with 963 BCFE at year end 1997, active in 11 basins in the Rockies, Mid-Continent, Permian Basin, Gulf of Mexico, and Peru. In his final fifteen months as President and CEO, Barrett under his direction grew into a major leaseholder and player in the Powder River Basin Coal Bed Methane Play. Prior to his employment at Barrett, Mr. Rady was employed by Amoco Production Company based in Denver, Colorado for 10 years where he was recognized as a leading geologist within Amoco and where he received credit for finding significant gas fields in the Arkoma Basin of Oklahoma. Mr. Rady received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Western State College of Colorado in 1978 and a Master of Science Degree in Geology from Western Washington University in 1980. Profile
