PAUL M. BURRELL is President and Chief Executive Officer of OutSource
International, Inc. which is publicly traded on the NASDAQ. Mr. Burrell
began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte, Haskins
and Sells, where he specialized in small-business organization, tax
planning and personnel development. After consulting the founders of a
small industrial staffing company (then called Labor World) for three
years, he was hired as its Chief Financial Officer in 1988 - he was 28
years old. In 1990, he became CEO of what is now OutSource
International, Inc. a company with three divisions: Tandem (flexible
industrial staffing), Synadyne (professional employer organization) and
Office Ours (flexible office clerical staffing). Mr. Burrell is a member
of the American Institute of CPAs; the Florida Institute of CPAs; the
National Association of Temporary and Staffing Services; the National
Association of Professional Employer Organizations; the Boca Forum; and
the Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach Chambers of Commerce. He has served
as past treasurer of the Florida Association of Staffing Services and as
a board director and chairman of the Development/Marketing Committee for
The Center of Family Services. He is a Certified Public Accountant and
Certified Professional Employer Specialist. Additionally, Burrell holds
a bachelor's degree from Florida State University. Mr. Burrell is the
recipient of the 1996 Up & Comers Award presented by Price Waterhouse
and the South Florida Business Journal; the 1996 Business of the Year
Award presented by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce; and the
1995/96 Corporate Leadership Award of the Institute of Human Relations.
In 1995, the city of Boca Raton honored Burrell with a proclamation for
his community leadership and charitable contributions and, in 1997, the
city of Deerfield Beach presented a proclamation recognizing OutSource's
contribution to the community's economic growth. Profile
