Parris H. Holmes Jr. – Billing Concepts Corporation (bill)

PARRIS H. HOLMES, JR. is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of New Century Equity Holdings Corp., a holding company focused on high growth, technology-based companies and investments. The company has one operating subsidiary, Austin, Texas-based FIData, Inc., and investments in two other companies, Coreintellect, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas and Princeton eCom Corporation, headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey. NASDAQ-listed New Century Equity Holdings is the successor to Billing Concepts Corp., which has roots to 1986 when Mr. Holmes founded U.S. Long Distance (USLD), a telecommunications company. The billing business of USLD was spun-off as a public company (Billing Concepts) in August 1996 and USLD was subsequently sold in 1997. When the telecommunications company was sold it was the eighth largest long distance company in the United States. In October 2000 three operating entities of Billing Concepts were sold and the company changed its name to New Century Equity Holdings. Mr. Holmes is involved in a wide range of professional organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Sharps Compliance Corp., Coreintellect, Inc., Tanisys Technology, Inc. and Princeton eCom Corporation. In June 1992, Mr. Holmes received the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' award for the South Texas region from Ernst & Young, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, and Inc. Magazine. Mr. Holmes: Just to go back a little in time, we were a spin-off from

U.S. Long Distance in August of 1996 and our role in
