JAMES M. ACKOR is a Vice President and Equity Research Analyst with
Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets. Mr. Ackor joined the company in
September of 1994. He is responsible for providing equity research on
the thrift industry for the firm's clients. Prior to joining Tucker
Anthony Sutro, he was employed by Moran Asset Management as an Equity
Research Analyst. Mr. Ackor began his professional career with United
Technologies as a Financial Analyst. He earned a BS from the University
of Maine in Finance and Management Information Systems. He received his
Masters of Science degree in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute in June of 1994. Mr. Ackor is a member of Financial Services
