MORGAN W. NIELDS holds a B.A. degree from Williams College (1968) and an
M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth
College (1970). From 1973 to 1983, Mr. Nields was President and Chief
Executive Officer of Fischer Imaging Corporation. From August, 1993,
until April, 1984, Mr. Nields was President and Chief Operating Officer
of Diasonics, Inc. Following the rescission of the Diasonics/Fischer
merger, Mr. Nields returned as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
of Fischer Imaging. Mr. Nields is a member of the Board of Governors of
the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). Profile
