Michon Schenck – Financial Fusion Inc

MICHON M. SCHENCK serves as President of Financial Fusion, Inc. She is responsible for advancing the company's e-finance solutions targeting Global 1000 financial institutions. Ms. Schenck oversees all of the operations functions, including engineering, professional services, customer services and support marketing. From 1996 to 1999, Ms. Schenck served as Vice President and General Manager of Sybase Inc.'s Global Financial Services of Business line. She was responsible for the development of Sybase technology initiatives in banking, capital markets, insurance and diversified financial services organizations. Under Ms. Schenck's management, revenues and expense targets for financial server were surpassed, and in 1997, financial services market share grew from 62% to 68%. While at Sybase, Ms. Schenck also spearheaded the spin-off of the financial server business unit into a separate subsidiary, which eventually joined forces with Home Financial Network to create Financial Fusion, Inc. Prior to joining Sybase, Ms. Schenck was affiliated with The Tower Group, the Boston-based consultancy monitoring financial technology markets, where she reviewed technology strategies and trends among banks, brokerages and the vendor community. Previously, Ms. Schenck was Vice President and MIS director at Fleet Financial Group of Providence, Rhode Island. She also served as Vice President of Commercial Loan Operations at the Bank of New England in Boston. The shift from business to technology enabled Ms. Schenck to gain significant operations and general management experience, as well as a detailed understanding of the banking business. Ms. Schenck has spoken at a number of conventions and conferences, including IT for Wall Street, SIA Annual Technology Conference, Financial Technology Expo, BAI Retail Delivery Show and French Bankers Roundtable. In addition, Ms. Schenck has made several presentations at conferences sponsored by Fortune Magazine, Meridien Research Group, Tower Group and ICM. Ms. Schenck holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree, Cum Laude, from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts. She is an active member of the Women in Information Technology Institute (WITI). Profile
