MICHELLE MARKS – IDEAS ON PURPOSE

MICHELLE MARKS Principal, Strategic and Creative Development leads the development of both broad communications and creative strategies for clients. A strong advocate for the power of content-oriented, narrative design, she always seeks the most effective way to tell the client's story. In addition to actively managing long term client relationships, she contributes extensively to research, analysis and executive interviews and the application of that research into tangible creative expression. Prior to founding IOP Michelle worked as a design director at Red Sky/Belk Mignogna Associates helping the company grow from 11 people to over 100; a designer at Wechsler and Partners; and with Saul Bass at Bass Yeager. Michelle has designed, directed and managed a variety of projects for clients such as American Express, Morgan Stanley, NYNEX, Seagram, and Nabisco. Her work has earned her recognition from the AIGA, Communication Arts, The AR100, and Graphis, among others. She is currently a member of the AIGA and the National Investor Relations Institute. Michelle grew up in Los Angeles, California but persistent jaywalking led her to New York. She is a graduate of Art Center College of Design. Profile
