MICHAEL B. WITTE is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Office of Alphagraphics, Inc. He has been a member of
AlphaGraphics' Board of Directors since May 1989 and became
AlphaGraphics' Chairman and CEO in 1991. Prior to joining
AlphaGraphics, Mr. Witte was Vice President and Division Director
of the Business Services division of R. R. Donnelley & Sons
Company, the Chicago-based international printing concern. He
joined Donnelley in 1986 and was responsible for the startup and
development of the business services division, which provides
facilities management and short-run printing services on a
nationwide basis. This was preceded by a 10 year career with the
Illinois state government, where he held various senior
management positions, including cabinet-level appointments as
director of the Illinois Department of Energy and Natural
Resources and later as the Director of the Illinois Department of
Conservation. Mr. Witte holds a BA from the University of
Michigan and an MBA from the University of Illinois. Profile
