MICHAEL S. ROSEN has been President and Chief Operating Officer of DOR BioPharma, Inc. since November 30, 2001 and a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer and a Board member of the predecessor company, Endorex Corporation, from August 1996. Prior to that, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of PharmaMar SA, a European biotech company, from January 1995 until August 1996. From 1987 until 1995, Mr. Rosen held several international executive positions at Monsanto including General Manager of Monsantos northern Latin American businesses and in various senior roles at G.D. Searle, Monsantos pharmaceutical company, including Senior Director, International Marketing; Senior Director, Japan Operations; and Assistant to the President. From 1985-1987, Mr. Rosen worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as Director of Business Development where he was responsible for licensing and equity investments in biotech companies. Prior to that, Mr. Rosen held various positions in international marketing and management at Pfizer over a 10-year period. Mr. Rosen has been a member of the Licensing Executives Society and a Member of the American Chamber of Commerce in several countries. Mr. Rosen received his BA in Sociology/International Relations from Beloit College and his MBA in International Business from the University of Miami.
