MICHAEL POHL nCUBE in July 1999, when the company acquired SkyConnect,
where he served as president and chief executive officer. He was named
president and CEO of nCUBE in March 2002. Mr. Pohl holds nearly 20 years
of cable television industry experience. During his career, he has been
instrumental in establishing and providing service for today's most
prominent television cable systems. As a national cable industry
lobbyist, Mr. Pohl fought for passage of the Cable Communications Policy
Act of 1984. He has served on numerous industry committees such as the
Technology Committee, Convention Committee and Small Operators Committee
of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association has been an
industry spokesperson for many years on a number of crucial issues. At
SkyConnect, a cable ad insertion company, Mr. Pohl negotiated strategic
alliances and provided strategic leadership to the company as it grew
from a start-up to a technical leader in the industry. At nCUBE, Mr.
Pohl has led the company to the forefront of on-demand technology
development and has helped bring to market next generation services such
as network personal video recording (DPI). nCUBE is involved in many of
the most advanced VOD projects in the world. On-demand television is
revolutionizing the way viewers watch programming in addition to
changing the way the television industry conducts its business. Mr. Pohl
is an active member of the NCTA, Cable TV Pioneers and the Cable &
Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and was a board
