MICHAEL A. MCDONNELL is President and Chief Executive Officer of Data
Race, Inc. which does business as IP AXESS. Mr. McDonnell was named
Chief Executive Officer in May 2000. Mr. McDonnell joined IP AXESS as
Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
in November 1999. Prior to joining IP AXESS, Mr. McDonnell served as
Vice President and General Manager for GTE Communications Corporation.
As a member of the original business unit development team, he was
instrumental in creating a billion-dollar division focused on the
delivery of integrated communication services available across GTE's
strategic business units. As National Director with NEC America, Mr.
McDonnell assisted in the creation and launch of NEC's Computer
Telephony Integration initiative, along with growing the Video Sales
unit, and Data Communications group. Mr. McDonnell has held several
national sales and marketing positions with multinational technology
corporations such as Toshiba Information Systems and Samsung Information
Systems. His experience also includes international responsibility
