Michael Maris – Webplan Corporation

MICHAEL MARIS is Vice President of Marketing at webplan Corporation. Mr. Maris comes to webplan with more than 20 years in the supply chain industry. Over the course of his career, he has developed a solid reputation for developing successful sales, marketing and professional services teams. At webplan, he has been responsible for worldwide channels and partner sales, alliances, European sales and most recently, marketing. Mr. Maris built webplan's Partner Programs on the basis of developing alliances with visionary companies in e-commerce, supply chain management, and systems integration. Under his leadership this program has been highly successful, attracting leading companies such as Cap Genimi Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and PRTM. Before joining webplan, Mr. Maris was Vice President, Professional Services, for Descartes Systems Group. During his tenure at Descartes, he successfully consolidated the professional services groups of several acquired companies into one division, reducing costs and adding to shareholder value. In addition, he was General Manager of the Dallas-based operations. Mr. Maris also held various positions at the global software provider EXE Technologies, including Vice President of Worldwide Sales Support and Marketing. During his time with EXE, the company grew to over $100 million dollars in revenue and executed a successful IPO.
