MICHAEL HARRISON is Chief Executive Officer of Cedar Group Plc. The
company specialises in providing software and services which enables its
customers to build knowledge based enterprise business solutions. Mr
Harrison joined the group in July 1997 and has over 33 years experience
in the IT industry and extensive experience in the management of large
information technology enterprises. He spent 16 years with IBM and
subsequently, he has had several senior management positions with a
number of US owned multi-nationals -including Borroughs, Data General,
Oracle and Infomix. During his time at Cedar, Mr Harrison has
implemented a new strategy for the group that addresses many of the
problems inherent in Enterprise Computing. This has seen the company's
market capitalisation grow from GBP50 million to over GBP350 million
through a series of key acquisitions and high profile partnerships,
including deals with Compaq and MCI WorldCom. Profile
