Michael Gullion – Gold Banc Corporation Inc (gldb)

MICHAEL W. GULLION is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gold Banc Corporation, a rapidly growing commercial banking and wealth management services company with assets at June 30, 2001 of approximately $2.9 billion dollars. He is also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gold Bank in Leawood, Kansas, the lead bank of Gold Banks located throughout 41 communities in Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Florida. Mr. Gullion has more than 30 years of banking experience and has led the company through more than 22 successful acquisitions. The size of the company has doubled every year for the past three years. His community banking philosophy of empowering local decision makers within the individual banks has successfully built the business of each back through a focus on people, communities and relationships. This 'More Than Money' style of doing business recognizes the value of personal service and long-term relationships. Mr. Gullion is a Director of the Johnson County Community College Foundation, (Some Enchanted Evening Event Committee), the Community Foundation of Johnson County, the Leawood Foundation, NPC International and the Leawood Rotary Club (charter member).
