Michael Gallagher – Flarion Technologies

MICHAEL GALLAGHER is FlarionTechnologies' President. Mr. Gallagher leads Flarion's global vision of customer adoption, through strategic vendor and licensing relationships with current and future wireless infrastructure suppliers, by building world-class deployment, customer support and execution-oriented internal organizations. Before joining Flarion in early 2001, Mr. Gallagher was most recently the Senior Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Operations for Nortel Networks' IP Services business unit (formerly Shasta Networks, acquired by Nortel in April 1999). At the IP Services business unit (Shasta), he built a global and dedicated IP-centric sales force of over 300 sales and SEs, to reach a $200 million revenue goal and #1 market share for the Shasta 5000 Broadband Service Node (BSN) in less than 15 months. Prior to Shasta Networks, Mr. Gallagher led Bay Network's North American sales operations. At Bay Networks, he had P&L responsibilities for an organization with annual revenues of more than $1.5 billion and over 1,100 people. During his tenure, Mr. Gallagher focused on US Telco and ISP enterprise operations, increasing sales tenfold, from $180 million in 1990 to over $1.6 billion in 1998. Mr. Gallagher's industry experience includes over 17 years of field sales operations supporting major telecommunications accounts. He began and developed his career at AT&T, NET and MCI, marketing and selling a broad range of each company's respective voice and data communication products and solutions. Mr. Gallagher is a Board member with Enterasys Networks, Inc., and Cetacean Networks, a privately held company. Mr. Gallagher holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Fordham University and holds an MBA from Pace University. Profile
