MAURIZIO LIVERANI is the President and CEO of Algol Group, a set of four
companies, Algol, Telcom, EpsiLan, and NETtrust, focused on Internet
infrastructure solutions. He previously was the President, CEO and
founder of ALCOM Corp. (USA), a document communications server company.
From 1988 to 1991, he was President of Algotek Inc (USA), now Matus
Medical Inc. He is presently the Chairman of Algol Group, Director of
WorldOnline Srl, Director of LookNBuy, an e-commerce company, and
Director of Assintel, an Italian IT association. Mr Liverani holds a
Doctor of Philosophy Electrical Eng from Stanford University, a Master
of Science Electrical Eng from Stanford University and a Bachelor of
Science Electrical Eng from the University of Surrey, in Guildford,
England. His interests include sailing, tennis, skiing, soccer, and
