MARK WILSON is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the East
Asiatic Group of Companies (EAC), which he joined in 1995. He was
appointed to the Management Board in January 1998 and President and
Chief Executive Officer in November 1998. Prior to joining EAC, Mr
Wilson spent 21 years with Glaxo SmithKline in International Marketing
and General Management positions. He has worked in many markets and
lived in the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan and now Singapore. EAC is a
Danish company, listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange with its
Operational HQ in Singapore. It is a group of market leading Consumer
Brands and Trading & Industrial companies including Infant & Child
Nutrition (Dumex), Processed Meats (Plumrose/Oscar Mayer); Manufacturing
Joint Ventures / distribution of Industrial Ingredients, and
International Moving & Relocation Services (Santa Fe/ Global
Silverhawk). Turnover in 2000 was USD1 billion with 70% of the business
