MARK MCDADE is Chief Executive Officer of Signature BioScience,
Inc. He joined Signature as the company's first full-time CEO in
December 2000, leaving his position as President and Chief
Operating Officer of Corixa Corporation subsequent to completion
of the Coulter transaction. At Corixa, he was a co-founder of the
company, and remains on the Board of Directors. Prior to Corixa,
Mr. McDade served as the Chief Operating Officer of Boehringer
Mannheim Therapeutics, the worldwide pharmaceutical division of
Corange Ltd. His prior experience includes various management
positions with Sandoz Ltd. Mr. McDade also serves on the Board of
Directors of Valentis, Inc. of Burlingame, CA and Akceli, Inc. of
Cambridge, MA. Mr. McDade graduated from Dartmouth College and

Mr. McDade: The company was formed in early 1999 around a
