MARK JANISCH is Director, President and CEO of Southward Energy Ltd. He
has over 17 years of experience in the oil and gas business. Following
graduation from the University of Alberta with a degree in Chemical
Engineering, he first joined Gulf Canada Resources and later CN
Exploration, a junior oil and gas company, where he was a Senior
Petroleum Engineer responsible for drilling, completions and production
operations. Prior to joining Southward, Mr. Janisch was Manager of
Operations for NAL resources. In addition to reserves management, he was
involved in identifying potential acquisitions. Mr. Janisch recently
graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an MBA degree. Profile
