MARK DIXON is the Founder and Chief Executive of Regus, the world's
largest operator of fully serviced business centres. Previously, he had
been the owner and Managing Director of several successful companies,
mainly in the UK, before founding Regus in 1989 with a single business
centre in Brussels. Mr Dixon's vision, at the time, was to help
International companies gain instant access to the single marketplace of
Europe. In just 11 years Mr Dixon's entrepreneurial skills have built
Regus into the world's largest operators of business centres. The
company currently has more than 300 prestigious locations in 48
countries, and it's still growing apace. Mr Dixon has received numerous
awards in recent years and his entrepreneurial skills were acknowledged
in 1999 when he was awarded the coveted number one position in the Ernst
& Young-sponsored Entrepreneur of the Year awards. In addition, he has
been either overall winner or runner-up in categories of the Enterprise
