MARK CHERNIS is President and Chief Operating Officer of The
Princeton Review, Inc. Mr. Chernis joined the company in 1984 as
a high school student. While attending Vassar College, which he
graduated with a BA in Economics, Mr. Chernis developed The
Princeton Review's computer system, as well as helped provide
training and support to the emerging franchise network. In the
early 1990s, Mr. Chernis formed the internal service centers of
the company, including information technology, human resources,
office services and the manufacturing business. Profile
