MARIO R. HOUTHOOFT is President, Chief Executive Officer and a
member of the Board of Directors of VASCO Data Security
International, Inc. Prior to joining VASCO he was Sales Manager,
Thickfilm Department; Product Manager Video and Data
Communication Division and Marketing and Sales Manager of Office
Equipment Products with Barco & Barco Industries; Sales Manager
of the Business Communications Systems Group Division with Bell
Telephone Manufacturing Cy. Mr. Houthooft was the Founder of
Cryptech Company. Mr. Houthooft received a degree in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Ghent. He attended seminars
and did post-university courses in marketing and product
