MARC NUSSBAUM joined Lantronix, Inc., as Chief Executive Officer and
President in May 2002. He is responsible for managing the company's
operations and executing its business strategy. He brings more than 22
years of experience as a technology leader with strong business and
product development, strategic planning and operations management
skills. Prior to joining Lantronix, Mr. Nussbaum served in senior
management positions at Western Digital Corporation and MTI Technology
Corporation, where he led new business, technology, marketing and
product development activities. At Western Digital, his positions
included Senior Vice President (responsible for business and technology
development), Senior Vice President, Product Development, and Chief
Technical Officer of the desktop hard drive division. He played a key
role in leading Western Digital's transition from LSI and controller
board supplier to an industry leader in PC components and hard drives.
As the originator of the Caviartm hard drive product line, Mr. Nussbaum
helped grow the business from less than $20 million in annual revenues
to more than $4.1 billion in sales by the late 1990s. Mr. Nussbaum also
held the positions of Senior Vice President, Product Development and
Chief Technical Officer at MTI, a $130 million enterprise storage
networking, software and subsystem business. He earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Physics from the State University of New York where he
