Marc Dutil – Canam Manac Group Inc (cam)

MARC DUTIL is President and Chief Operating Officer of The Canam Manac Group Inc., and a member of the Board. In 1986, he started a software design firm, especially active in the United States in the field of electronic exchange systems. In 1989, he joined The Canam Manac Group and started developing engineering software. From 1991-1995, he held different jobs at the head office of Canam Steel Works, Inc., in St- Gedeon while continuing his education in various Canadian and American universities. In 1995, he was named General Manager of Steel Plus Network', a new division of The Canam Manac Group. In 1999, he became President, General Manager of this North American steel fabricator business network and also supervised US sales and engineering functions for Canam Steel corporation. In 2001, Mr. Dutil was promoted to Vice President of The Canam Manac Group while maintaining his responsibilities as President of Steel Plus Network. In 2002, Mr. Dutil was named Executive Vice President of The Canam Manac Group Inc. and a member of its Board. In 1999, Revue Commerce named Mr. Dutil one of the top 50 young personalities from the Quebec business, scientific and artistic fields. In 2000, he earned the Young Business Personality Award at the Beauce Business Gala. In addition to being Chairman of the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction, Mr. Dutil is a Board member of the Structural Steel Education Foundation and nStein Corporation, a publicly traded technology company. He is President of 'L'Association d'Intgration Sociale' for the Chaudire Appalache region and the 'Moisson Beauce Foundation,' a local food bank.
