LOUIS L. BORICK is Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and
Chief Executive Officer of Superior Industries International, Inc. a New
York Stock Exchange company. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and
resided there until moving to California in 1957. Borick founded
Superior Industries in 1957 and has been its CEO since that time. Prior
to 1957, he was the founder, general partner and later, President of
Sterling Products Company and Sterling Plastic, Inc., St. Paul,
Minnesota, a consumer-product manufacturer of plastic products. Borick
attended the University of Minnesota, majoring in Business
Administration. He received a certificate in Industrial Engineering from
the University of Minnesota and a certificate of Petroleum Engineering
from UCLA. He was a bomber pilot in the Army's Air Force and retired
from the US Air Force Reserve with the rank of Major in 1969. He is the
past President of the American Safety-Belt Council. He is a former
member of the President's Committee for the United Nations. Recently, he
was nominated to the Hall of Fame of SEMA (Specialty Equipment
Manufacturers' Association). This is an honor bestowed on members who
have been contributors to this national organization. Profile
