Len Brandt – Cns Response, Inc. (cnso)

LEN BRANDT co-founded CNS Response, Inc., in 2000 and is its CEO. In many ways, this has resulted from his venture capital investment experience, which taught him of the significant need for technology advancement in mental and addictive medicine and his operational experience in building a company from the ground up. His prior experience is extensive in new ventures from both venture capital and operating perspectives. As a General Partner at Norwest Ventures he led the fund's investment activity throughout the 1980s in all areas of health care including biopharmaceutical, healthcare services, medical devices and diagnostics. Most of these investments were in early stages of development where Mr. Brandt had a lead role. In the 1990s, he co-founded Mill City Venture Consulting, Inc., providing venture consulting to a diverse number of ventures ranging from medical device to financial services. During this time he co- founded Embro Vascular, the dominant supplier of technology for least-invasive saphenous vein harvesting (heart bypass surgery) now supplied through Boston Scientific. Also during this time, his involvement with an innovative supplier of neurostimulation lead technology, Micronet Medical, (purchased by Advanced Neuromodulation Systems and then St. Jude Medical, refocused his attention on CNS analytics and treatment. From 1995 to 1999 he headed Time Segment Publishing, a company he founded. Mr. Brandt was educated at the University of Illinois and Harvard. After moving to Orange County, California, he has continued to be active with new ventures and entrepreneurs in advisory or Board directory roles and co-founded myGenopedia. Profile
