Len A. Haussler – Opus Capital Mgmt Inc

LEN A. HAUSSLER is a Founder and President of Opus Capital Management, Inc. (OCM). He is the creator of the systematic, value methodology described herein and is responsible for the management and trading of all OCM client accounts. Prior to starting OCM, he was the Assistant Treasurer and Director of Investments for twelve years at Cincinnati Bell Inc. His duties at Cincinnati Bell included developing the investment policy and directing the investments for the $750 million Pension Fund and the $250 million Savings Plans. Other investments he either controlled or consulted on amounted to $150 million. Mr. Haussler has developed a national reputation for his innovative use of financial asset classes to increase returns while still managing to reduce risk. As such, Mr. Haussler has been a frequent speaker at conferences around the nation on various financial topics. Mr. Haussler has acted as an investment consultant for various companies in the Cincinnati area. For example, he was sought out to be the Co-Chairman of a task force commissioned by the City Manager to make investment policy recommendations to the City of Cincinnati's $2 billion pension fund. Presentation of his recommendations were made to the City Manager, members of Council and the Pension Board. These recommendations are currently being implemented, and Mr. Haussler has been formally commended by the Mayor of the city and by the Pension Plan's consultant. Prior to Cincinnati Bell, Mr. Haussler worked as a Financial Analyst for the Mead Corporation, taught at the University of Cincinnati and performed various accounting, audit and tax duties for Arthur Andersen and Company. Mr. Haussler is very active in the financial community of Cincinnati. He is the past Treasurer of the Midwest Benefits Conference, long-time member of the Southern Ohio Pension Group and member of the Cincinnati Society of Financial Analysts. He is also active in the community as a volunteer for the auxiliary arm of the Downtown Council for the past twelve years and has functioned as its Vice President and President. Mr. Haussler earned both a BBA in Accounting (1978) and an MBA in Finance (1980) from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Haussler: We invest in small to
