Lee Roberts – Filenet Corporation (file)

LEE ROBERTS, CEO and Chairman of FileNET, has taken the company in a new direction. FileNET develops, markets, and services eProcess and Web content management software solutions, as well as packaged eBusiness applications for specific vertical markets. Panagon, FileNET's core technology, enables companies to automate business processes and manage Web content in the form of Intranets, business-to-business, and business-to-consumer portals. Mr. Roberts joined the company as President and COO in May 1997 and was named CEO in April 1998 and Chairman in December 2000. He has made his mark with a number of initiatives aimed at leveraging FileNET's extensive customer base, global marketing presence and vast research and development resources. Among his innovations have been the globalization of FileNET's sales, marketing and support organizations, in order to build on the company's presence in more than 92 countries. Mr. Roberts joined FileNET after 20 years at IBM in a variety of sales, marketing, product management and general management roles. Mr. Roberts earned two Bachelor's degrees from California State University, San Bernardino, and an MBA from the University of California, Riverside. Profile
