LAWRENCE A. COLLETT has been employed by Cass Commercial Corporation
since 1963. He was hired by the company's banking subsidiary, Cass Bank
& Trust Company and held numerous positions culminating in his
appointment as Executive Vice-President in 1974. In 1983, he became the
first President of Cass Information Systems, Inc., the Company's
information processing subsidiary. In 1990, he was elected the Chief
Executive Officer of Cass Commercial Corporation and was given the
additional responsibilities of Board Chairman in 1992. Cass Commercial
Corporation is a Bank Holding Company consisting of Cass Bank & Trust
Company, a St. Louis based commercial lending institution, and Cass
Information Systems, Inc., a third party provider of freight bill and
accounts payable services primarily to the nation's largest
manufacturing companies. Cass Information Systems, Inc. has offices in
St. Louis, Missouri, Chicago, Illinois, Columbus, Ohio and Boston,
Massachusetts. Cass Bank & Trust Company serves small and medium-sized
privately-held companies and churches through its five branches in the
St. Louis metropolitan area. In addition to his business
responsibilities, Mr. Collett has held numerous positions with
charitable and church related institutions. He has been a member of
numerous Boards and Advisory Boards of several non-profit community
organizations and also serves as the Pastor Teacher of a small church
within the First Evangelical Free Church in St. Louis. A lifelong
resident of the St. Louis area, Mr. Collett has been married to his
wife, Sherry, since January, 1965. They have three children and two
