LARRY TANNING is the Founder and CEO of Tanning Technology Corporation,

months ended June 30, 1999, Tanning reported approximately $45 million
in revenues. In the past dozen years, Mr. Tanning has been at the
industry forefront evangelizing, selling, managing and deploying open
systems solutions to solve traditionally mainframe-class challenges.
From early two-tiered RDBMS solutions, he has led Tanning's steady
evolution to robust business-value-driven, architecture-based and
deployment-focused methods, incorporating multi-tier software to deliver
the flexibility and scalability demanded by today's businesses. Today,
Tanning's customers are a Who's-Who of the largest users of information
in the world today. To meet its customers' needs, Tanning offers robust
